Dovra 1.1.0

Download the portable Windows x64 build directly from the project’s download server. The release page lists the tested environment and known limitations; SHA256SUMS.txt lists the checksums.

Use this build for lawful workflows and authorized testing. Keep a backup of important browser data before trying a new build.

What is Dovra?

Dovra is a desktop browser for software developers who work with AI agents and automation tools. It is built on the open-source Chromium project and combines configurable browser environments with a companion toolkit for reading and interacting with web pages.

Can I download the browser now?

Yes. Get Dovra and read its release notes, checksums, and known limitations.

Is Dovra free?

Yes. Dovra is free to download and use within its terms and component licenses.

Does it work with Playwright?

Dovra supports connecting and driving pages with Playwright through the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP). Compatibility depends on the build and the APIs your workflow uses. Check the release notes for the APIs tested and the known limitations.

What platforms are supported?

This release targets Windows x64. Its release notes state the actual test environment and requirements; do not assume every Windows configuration has been tested. No public macOS or Linux build is available.

Are the browser and toolkit open source?

The browser is distributed as a compiled package with component notices and required source and relinking materials. The companion toolkit uses the MIT license. That license does not replace the browser components’ own licenses.

What can I use it for?

Use Dovra for software testing, QA, accessibility checks, and research you are authorized to perform. Respect website terms, access controls, privacy, and rate limits. The project does not provide support tailored to unlawful use.

Does Dovra guarantee that automated activity will go undetected?

No. Dovra does not guarantee undetectability, anonymity, or successful access to any third-party service. Target sites change their controls frequently. Dovra describes what the product can do and leaves the legality and risk of each use to the user.

Can support help me get past a specific site's checks?

No. Support does not provide step-by-step guidance on bypassing a named site's security checks, bot-detection, or verification systems. General questions about API usage, profile configuration, and script debugging are welcome.
