Use a named browser profile to keep a task’s data together. Return to that profile to continue a session, or choose another profile for a separate test.

Choose a configuration for your test, including language and environment parameters. Save the settings with your results so you can review what the browser used.

The companion toolkit reads rendered page content, links, and interactive elements. Use defined actions to navigate, click, fill forms, and extract results.

Complete sign-in and verification through the website’s normal process.

  1. Choose the environment

    Select a profile and the settings your test needs. Keep separate test cases in separate profiles.

    Inspect the rendered page. Use the companion toolkit’s actions or connect with Playwright to carry out the next step.

    Record the outcome and close the browser cleanly. Reuse the profile when you need to continue the task.

Where things stand

Public release status

Dovra is under active development. Current Windows browser builds are used for internal validation. A public browser download is not available yet.

What is Dovra?

Dovra is a browser project for agent workflows, built on Chromium. It combines configurable browser environments with a companion toolkit for reading and interacting with web pages.

Can I download the browser now?

Not yet. Current builds are for internal validation. We will publish release details here when a reviewed browser build is ready.

Will Dovra be free?

Yes. Dovra is being developed for free distribution.

Does it work with Playwright?

Dovra supports connecting and driving pages with Playwright through the Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP). Compatibility depends on the build and the APIs your workflow uses. Check the relevant release notes when a public build is available.

What platforms are supported?

Current browser development focuses on Windows. We have not announced public macOS or Linux builds.

Are the browser and toolkit open source?

The browser is intended for binary distribution. The companion skills and libraries use the MIT license. Public repository and release links will be added when available.

What can I use it for?

Use Dovra for lawful workflows, application testing, and tests you are authorized to perform. Respect website terms, access controls, privacy, and rate limits. The project does not provide support tailored to unlawful use.
